canning jar with a Ball porcelain-lined zinc cap is in good condition
.  One side of the jar is embossed with the words
PORCELAIN
(arched letters)
LINED
.  The patent dates
PAT NOV 26 67 and PAT FEB 4
13
(error should be 73
)
are embossed on the base.
Including the zinc cap, the canning jar is
approximately
7 1/4" tall.
As expected with vintage canning jars, there are manufacturing flaws including whittled glass and closed bubbles in the glass.
The jar shows wear consistent with its age and purpose including ground lip flakes and surface scratches.
