Vintage tin, Cigar Tin!   when cigar smoking was a popular sign of maturity or sophistication among Dutch men... The lid has an insignia with tobacco leaves, a starry banner and a small globe with a cross.
The sides have a white samoyed eskimo dog, a girl hugging her doll, a black and white goat with a cart, baby girl with toys.  Dutch, Holland piece and the words on this tin (as much as I could figure out) seem to be words for brave boys, sisters ..the one for the goat is for goat..the others are harder to translate. A bit of a mystery for me why these images would be on a cigar tin but they are really nice with beautiful colors.
Tin looks good while closed...When you open it and opened you can see wear on the scans..very nice colors and opens very well.
Measures 4.5 tall inches and 3 inches wide for each side. very nice!
