VINTAGE 1910s-1920s STICKNEYS NEW TUNGSTEN CIGAR CAN TOBACCO TIN BOX EXCELLENT

Offered here is a 100% ORIGINAL, old cigar can, with tin litho graphics. (NOT a paper label.) I believe that this was made approximately 100 years ago - give or take. Two of the four sides have beautiful graphics of a woman hovering above the earth. It reads: "NEW TUNGSTEN...The Brightest Light of the Cigar World...2 FOR 15 CENTS...STICKNEY'S TUNGSTEN." In very fine print, one side is marked: "THE ELWOOD MEYERS COMPANY, SPRINGFIELD, OHIO." The underside is embossed: "FACTORY No 241...25...11th DIST. OHIO." I believe that this originally held 25 cigars. It measures 5 & 1/2 inches tall. The base is approx. 3 & 1/2 inches square. The condition is EXCELLENT - probably an 8+ to 9 on a scale of 10. (This can is so clean, when I first saw it, I thought it must be a reproduction. Then I saw just a bit of the original tax stamp on the lid.) It has a few small paint nicks. One corner of the lid has a slight "ding," and there is a little paint wear on the edges of the lid - nothing serious. The colors are nice on all sides, and it displays beautifully. You'll be hard pressed to EVER find a nicer example of this rare tin cigar / tobacco box. It is guaranteed to be old & original, or your money back.
