The Supreme Hy-Drive 1600 is a versatile pond and aquarium pump that features a powerful, efficient hybrid drive motor. Its efficient motor allows for whisper-quiet operation, self resetting thermal overload protection. Fish-safe because no oil is used. Designed for continuous duty operation, this pump is high-capacity and compatible with use in larger pond installations or multi-tank aquariums. With its included filter, this pump is additionally resistant to clogging and damage from solid particles. The next generation HY-Drive design combines the benefits of magnetic and direct-drive technologies to deliver an extremely quiet, energy efficient, low maintenance pumping source.
The Hy-Drive 1600 features a maximum flow rate of 1,600 gph, but still goes easy on the wattage, with a maximum energy use of 120 watts. The heavy-duty polypropylene enclosure has a built-in carry handle and an effective molded-in debris screen.
