Whether for a wild joyride through the winter snow or transportation to work during the frigid winter months, Moto-Ski was there providing their revered snowmobiles. The snowmobile brand was first manufactured in 1963 by Les Industries Bouchard and then purchased by Giffen in 1968. The famed “Tougher Seven Ways” advertisement fueled its popularity among those living in the snow, as it not only featured a Moto-Ski on a roller coaster but also navigating the rough terrain of a creek bed. Soon enough, the snowmobile was well-known for its durability and reliability. By the early 1970s, Moto-Ski was the second best-selling snowmobile brand in Canada and third in the world. Although Moto-Ski originally listed snowmobiles by engine size and year rather than model name, they eventually adopted the naming trend. Revered Moto-Ski snowmobiles include the Grand Prix, Nuvik, Super-Sonic, Spirit, and Cadet. Moto-Ski boomed in business until its doors came to a close in 1985, yet their fame in the wintry world of snowmobiles is commemorated in the make of many snowmobiles today.- Malibu Shirts Inc.
