Information About the Track Cleaning Car (Marklin Description)
The track cleaning system is for continuous use during operation of a train.
The cleaning felt can be changed. Dirty cleaning felts can be put into a cloth bag and washed in a washing machine at 30 degrees Celsius or 86 degrees Fahrenheit (warm water setting on American washing machines). The cleaning felts cannot be dried in a drying machine.
This track cleaning car will create a certain amount of drag and resistance when run behind your trains ... this is normal for its design. We therefore recommend that you use the heaviest, best traction and most powerful Z-locomotive on your layout to pull it.
