    Description

    This is a great collection of Rumford Baking Powder items.  The hardcover cook book is in great condition and is signed inside as "Compliments of Morriseys Grocery Store" a store located in South Deerfield, MA.   The various tins are in excellent condition.  A tin chimney biscuit cutter, several tins, several soft cover cooking books along with a letter from the Rumford Company dated 1924. The largest tin is 4 1/2" high to give you an idea of the size of the other items.
    The longer item is an early old primitive tin potato baking rack marked "Rumford The Wholesome Baking Powder" and is in very good condition. Made of stamped tin with cutout & bent-up tabs to stab into potatoes, and has a wire handle. Measures approximately 15 1/4 inches long. Would make a great display with any country decor, unusual primitive kitchen utensil collectible, antique tinware, or Rumford baking powder collection.
