The Aquascape AquaSurge 5000 is a versatile water feature pump, featuring both the power and the energy-efficiency that you've been searching for. This pump is adaptable a wide variety of installations, and due to its ability to operate both horizontally and vertically, it can fit inside various models of pond skimmers and can also be used with many types of waterfall filters, or just about any other similar sized feature. A pump stand is included to allow for vertical positioning.
This pump features a specially designed asynchronous, hybrid drive motor, which pairs high power with great energy-efficiency, and will save you a great deal on energy costs compared to many pumps with a similar flow rate. Designed for continuous operation, this pump can keep a filter running around the clock, and with its max flow rate of 5,284 gph, this pump only uses up to 360 watts! At an average energy cost of 10 cents per kilowatt-hour, that's a cost of less than per month! The pump's design also has a unique ceramic shaft with cooling port that helps to prevent the pump from overheating, helping to ensure a long operational lifespan even further.
