    Please check your old lamp length, as although this bulb will fit all other 18 Watt units (although not recommended for other units due to shorter length), not all Tetra units require this special 18 watt bulb. Our apologies for any confusion, but it is Tetra that constantly "muddies" the waters by not using industry standard bulbs
